Wind Telecom, a rapidly growing telecommunications provider in the Dominican Republic serving residential and commercial customers, faced siloed legacy infrastructure that constrained capacity, agility, and new service rollout (including a new 4G LTE network). To modernize and enable faster service delivery and future IT/ IaaS offerings, Wind Telecom selected Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HPE Helion CloudSystem—backed by HPE ConvergedSystem for Cloud, HPE OneView, and HPE StoreOnce Backup—to replace its legacy stack.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented a converged private cloud, upgrading to HPE Converged Infrastructure, deploying HPE Helion CloudSystem and HPE OneView, and migrating critical workloads (OSS/BSS, ERP, SAP, BI) to the new platform.
