Beijing UnionRead Information Technology Ltd. sought to become a leading hybrid cloud service provider for industries such as education, healthcare, transportation and finance but faced challenges around mixed IT environments, vendor lock‑in, complex management and the need for advanced virtual computing and network virtualization. Hewlett Packard Enterprise delivered an OpenStack‑based HPE Helion solution, plus professional services and a dedicated operations team, to build an open, secure and scalable cloud platform offering IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. The HPE deployment improved operational efficiency and system stability, reduced build/maintenance costs and management complexity, and enabled faster delivery—one trial simplified more than 1,200 manual configuration steps to a few automated steps completed in hours—helping UnionRead expand services and accelerate customer cloud migrations.
