ThyssenKrupp Elevator Americas - Customer Case Study

ThyssenKrupp Elevator Americas, the largest elevator producer in the Americas with roughly 15,500 employees and more than 200 branch and service locations, needed to modernize and consolidate disparate back‑office platforms (AS/400, client‑server, mainframe) around Oracle E‑Business Suite and automate a large repository of manual test scripts. They engaged Hewlett Packard Enterprise, using HP ALM and UFT, to standardize testing and support the migration.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) 11.0 and HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT) 11.0 with Mobile Labs Trust, with Sky IT Group assisting on assessment and phased rollout. The solution enabled three‑month phased deployments across 200+ U.S. offices, reduced preparation and testing cycle times, cut testing resources through unattended runs, expanded test coverage and faster feedback, and delivered platform consolidation and cost reductions.
