The World Bank Group - Customer Case Study

The World Bank Group needed to centralize and standardize IT performance testing and global user-experience monitoring across five organizations supporting 25,000 employees in 180 locations. Facing reactive, slow problem resolution and a rising scope of production and development testing, the Bank engaged Hewlett Packard Enterprise to provide enterprise-grade performance testing, real-user monitoring and lifecycle tools (including SiteScope, Diagnostics, Operations Manager/OMi, Real User Monitoring, Performance Center, ALM, UFT, BSM and related HP software).

Hewlett Packard Enterprise delivered the integrated software suite plus professional services and POCs to deploy end-to-end monitoring, test automation and network virtualization for testing. As a result the Bank achieved real-time visibility into user experience, can detect degradation before failure, centralized and automated change management for 5,500 servers, and improved release-over-release performance—reducing incident troubleshooting from hours of log-wrangling to a few targeted phone calls—while establishing enterprise standards across the organization.
