Stantec, an Edmonton‑based architectural, engineering and environmental services firm, needed to replace a decade‑old, disk‑based storage platform that was straining the availability, performance and snapshot requirements of its Oracle E‑Business Suite during rapid growth and frequent acquisitions. Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented HPE 3PAR StoreServ all‑flash (two 3PAR 8400 systems with 24×3.84TB SSDs), HPE 3PAR Remote Copy and Proactive Care support; the deployment reduced batch times by about 20%, cut Oracle storage footprint by roughly 85%, and shortened snapshot/restore windows from hours to minutes, while delivering improved ERP stability and easier SAN management.
