Simpolo Simplifies IT Management As It Prepares Global Expansion

Simpolo, one of India’s leading tile manufacturers, was preparing global expansion and building a new data centre but found its IT infrastructure lagging behind production needs. To improve management of its virtual server estate and create a flexible, scalable backbone, Simpolo evaluated options with its partner and engaged Hewlett Packard Enterprise, selecting the HPE Hyper Converged 380 and associated services.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise deployed the HPE Hyper Converged 380 with HPE Technology Services (including a five‑year Proactive Care contract), delivering a fully integrated ProLiant DL380 Gen9/VMware vSphere solution. The implementation simplified VM management (deploy in five clicks, updates in three), reduced maintenance and labour costs, freed the IT team to focus on six higher‑value projects, enabled quick scaling, and produced visible benefits within months of the August 2016 deployment, strengthening the business case for further IT investment.
