Sigma Group Grows Service Portfolio and Boosts IT Agility

Sigma Group, a France-based managed services provider serving retail, insurance, and IT customers, needed to give its small and medium–size business clients more control and move to a hybrid cloud model. Sigma chose Hewlett Packard Enterprise, deploying HPE Helion Cloud solutions—notably HPE Cloud Service Automation and HPE Operations Orchestration—to offer IaaS/PaaS and a pay-as-you-go, self-service catalog.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise automated provisioning and integrated the new platform with Sigma’s VMware environments, replacing manual processes and launching the cloud in under six months. The HPE solution cut VM deployment from 2 days to 13 minutes (about 220× faster) and reduced staff time from 4 hours to roughly 15 minutes, freeing experts for higher-value work and enabling expanded self-service hybrid-cloud offerings.
