Scott Sports Accelerates Business Planning

Scott Sports, the Switzerland-based sporting goods company, faced poor performance and limited analytics from a legacy Oracle data warehouse that impeded finance and operations reporting. To enable SAP Business Warehouse (BW) migration to SAP HANA and deploy SAP Business Planning and Consolidation, Scott Sports selected Hewlett Packard Enterprise and its HPE ConvergedSystem for SAP HANA platform, supported by HPE consulting services.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented HPE ConvergedSystem 500 appliances, HPE Datacenter Platform SAP Consulting Services, HPE OneView automation, and HPE Proactive Care Advanced Service, migrating SAP BW to SAP HANA while running legacy systems in parallel. The project was completed in less than three months, delivering dramatic processing improvements, automated backup/disaster recovery, faster global sales reporting and finance planning, and a scalable foundation for additional SAP HANA migrations that accelerates decision-making and time-to-market.
