A Hewlett Packard Enterprise Case Study
PCP Partner Oy, a Finland-based Infrastructure-as-a-Service provider, was struggling with chronic capacity shortfalls that delayed customer projects and blocked cloud growth. To solve this, the company turned to Hewlett Packard Enterprise and evaluated HPE’s Flexible Capacity model and Helion Cloud technologies as the foundation for a sustainable private‑cloud business model.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented a private cloud using HPE Helion CloudSystem Enterprise, HPE ConvergedSystem/BladeSystem, HPE 3PAR StoreServ and HPE Operations Orchestration under an HPE Flexible Capacity agreement. The solution eliminated capacity gaps, shifted costs from CAPEX to OPEX, brought the cloud into production in about two months, and cut provisioning time from 2–3 weeks to roughly 5 minutes—enabling faster delivery for ISV customers and supporting PCP Partner Oy’s planned service expansion.
