A Hewlett Packard Enterprise Case Study
PCM Solutions, a US-based provider of end-to-end IT products and services with more than 1,200 technical professionals, faced a shifting customer base moving toward a “New Style of IT.” To stay competitive it needed to transform its business model to offer flexible, scalable, end-to-end solutions that included services and financing. Hewlett Packard Enterprise (via HP Financial Services offerings such as HP FMV leasing and pre-provisioning, and infrastructure like 3Par and StoreServ) was engaged to help deliver those capabilities.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented an integrated solution combining financing, pre-provisioning and infrastructure to let PCM accelerate customer purchases and tailor offers to varied needs. The program produced repeatable customer business and delivered measurable impact — roughly $7 million in volume per year — while giving PCM differentiated investment expertise, a single flexible end-to-end solution and direct access to HP Financial Services experts.
