A Hewlett Packard Enterprise Case Study
Opus Interactive, a cloud service provider operating three data centers and serving nearly 1,000 companies, needed a cost‑effective hosting platform that delivered high performance, seamless scalability and guaranteed availability without the limits of traditional SAN arrays. Working with Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Opus sought a standardized, easily managed virtualized infrastructure to rapidly provision services and ensure multi‑site resilience for high‑value customers.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise provided the hardware and software foundation—HPE ProLiant server blades, BladeSystem c7000 enclosures, storage and networking blades, and HPE StoreVirtual VSA Software (integrated with VMware)—to create clustered compute and software‑defined storage across three sites. The HPE solution enabled Network RAID multi‑site redundancy and single‑pane management, delivering 100% availability, nearly a petabyte of virtualized storage, rapid deployment of large customer environments in days, and fueling Opus Interactive’s growth to nearly 1,000 customers.
