A Hewlett Packard Enterprise Case Study
NTUC Fairprice, Singapore’s largest grocery retailer, faced rapidly growing data volumes that made reporting slow and limited real‑time decision making. The retailer needed to fully migrate its ERP to an SAP HANA platform within a six‑month window to improve stock control, merchandising and payments, and engaged Hewlett Packard Enterprise to provide the HANA‑optimized infrastructure and migration services (HPE ConvergedSystem 900 hardware and HPE Serviceguard software).
Hewlett Packard Enterprise delivered two CS900 HANA systems, Serviceguard clustering and consulting/migration services, completing the move on schedule and with minimal strain on internal IT. The result: database footprint fell from 6.5TB to 2.2TB (with capacity to 12TB), faster, real‑time access to a single source of truth, improved availability and failover, better stock visibility and distribution, and quicker business decisions — all achieved within the six‑month target.
