Liwayway Creates Real Time Enterprise Following HANA migration

Liwayway, a leading Chinese snack-food company with 15 factories and over 200 products, faced growing data volumes and slow SAP performance across procurement, production and sales. To become a real‑time enterprise, Liwayway chose Hewlett Packard Enterprise to migrate its SAP Business Suite to SAP HANA, leveraging HPE ConvergedSystem 500 for SAP HANA, HPE ProLiant DL580 servers and HPE Transformation Services for SAP HANA.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise delivered an end-to-end migration—deploying two HPE ConvergedSystem 500 HANA production servers with system replication, ProLiant infrastructure and full HPE services—and completed the project in 10 weeks. The HPE solution put 10 sites on SAP HANA, supported 400–500 concurrent users, cut month-end reporting from two days to half a day, and delivered almost 300× faster financial reporting, dramatically improving Liwayway’s real‑time analytics and business agility.
