KDZ prevents data loss by deploying an HP Integrated Security Solution

Kommunales Dienstleistungszentrum (KDZ) is a regional German municipal service center that manages payroll, pensions, healthcare, and insurance for government employees. Facing the need to protect highly sensitive personnel data and lacking centralized log correlation and intrusion prevention, KDZ—working with integrator TWINSOFT—chose Hewlett Packard Enterprise solutions, deploying HP ArcSight Express AE-7506 and HP TippingPoint S260NX to improve threat identification and in-line protection.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented an integrated SIEM and IPS: ArcSight for real-time log collection, correlation and dashboards, and TippingPoint for high-throughput, low-latency threat inspection and up-to-date filters. Deployed on time and on budget, the solution delivered centralized visibility, real-time alerts, reduced staff time monitoring and resolving security events, blocked malicious traffic, recaptured misused bandwidth, and helped KDZ prevent data loss and theft while enabling faster incident response and firewall optimization.
