A Hewlett Packard Enterprise Case Study
ITSG GmbH, the IT service provider for Germany’s health and social security sector, faced a growing, complex data center of disparate servers and storage that was hard to manage and scale. To automate and flexibilize its infrastructure the company selected Hewlett Packard Enterprise hyper‑converged solutions, including HPE Hyper Converged 250 (HC 250) systems and HPE ConvergedSystem 700.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise delivered factory‑preconfigured HC 250 systems that integrate compute, storage and virtualization into virtual function blocks, enabling automated resource provisioning, synchronous vendor‑managed firmware updates and faster application rollout. The HPE solution reduced administrative effort, shortened time‑to‑value, supported roughly 800 virtual systems, shifted administrators to middleware roles, improved cost transparency and reduced footprint, and has run stably without outages.
