Ignitar Builds Platform for International Growth through Private Cloud

Ignitar, an Irish cloud services provider, needed a wholly managed private cloud from a single supplier to meet tight go‑live deadlines for new customers. To avoid a multi‑vendor build and accelerate delivery, Ignitar engaged Hewlett Packard Enterprise and its HPE Helion team to design an end‑to‑end private cloud solution.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s HPE Helion Professional Services delivered an HPE Helion CloudSystem (HPE 3PAR F400, BladeSystem c7000, ProLiant BL465 blades, HPE 5820 switches) and had the private cloud production‑ready within four weeks. The solution reduced IT management complexity, supported 30 customers within a year (with plans to double and expand overseas) while allowing Ignitar’s 10‑person team to scale customers without a corresponding increase in headcount.
