A Hewlett Packard Enterprise Case Study
Ormuco, a Montreal-based service provider that counts five of the top ten global gaming companies among its customers, faced the challenge of delivering an OpenStack-based hybrid cloud that lets enterprises and ISVs quickly deploy, scale, and secure applications across public and private environments. To meet demand for a pay-as-you-go, turnkey platform with strong security and global reach, Ormuco partnered with Hewlett Packard Enterprise to build a solution around HPE Helion OpenStack and the HPE Helion Network.
Working with Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Ormuco launched “The Connected Cloud,” a single-platform hybrid cloud operated from three North American data centers using HPE Helion OpenStack and HPE Helion Network services; HPE also expedited hardware shipment and assisted installation. The solution enables rapid, on-demand provisioning, easier scaling, reduced application development time, and global application launches — Ormuco reports it has increased deal size by 50% and signed partners such as MigSolv to deliver cloud services on the platform.
