A Hewlett Packard Enterprise Case Study
Hostworks, a Sydney-based digital media solutions provider that supports high-traffic sites (ticketing, video streaming and other mission‑critical services), needed to eliminate downtime risk and free up staff to focus on proactive customer support. After evaluating options, Hostworks standardized its Flex hosting platform on Hewlett Packard Enterprise hardware and management software — including HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen8 servers together with HPE Server Automation and HPE Operations Orchestration — to deliver the agility, scalability and automation required.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented HPE Server Automation and HPE Operations Orchestration to automate patching, testing, QA and routine server maintenance across multiple data centres and both physical and virtual environments. The automation reduced human error and routine maintenance workload, improved turnaround times for building customer environments and deploying services, lowered operational costs and downtime, and freed skilled staff to provide more proactive, value‑added customer support—enabling faster service delivery and increased revenue opportunities.
