A Hewlett Packard Enterprise Case Study
Hostworks, a leading Australian provider of high-transaction web and digital media hosting, needed to support rapid growth while maintaining a low tolerance for downtime, strict regulatory compliance and faster service delivery. To achieve greater agility, scalability and automation, Hostworks partnered with Hewlett Packard Enterprise and adopted an integrated HP CloudSystem solution (including HP Cloud Service Automation, HP Network Automation and the HP BladeSystem Matrix).
Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented the CloudSystem stack to automate provisioning, incident resolution and compliance, enabling Hostworks to launch its Elastic Compute Infrastructure and bring cloud services to market faster. The HP solution delivered measurable results: 100% availability for SBS’s World Game site during the 2010 FIFA World Cup while handling 1.5 million unique visitors, 25–30 million page impressions and 2 million video views, reduced operational costs and operator errors, faster service delivery that increased revenue, and improved governance and auditability.
