A Hewlett Packard Enterprise Case Study
Horace Mann, an insurance holding company serving U.S. educators, needed to deliver faster time-to-market for high‑quality insurance products while cutting operational overhead. To address this, Hewlett Packard Enterprise provided testing and lifecycle management tools — upgrading Horace Mann from QC 9.5 to HP ALM Quality Center 12 on SaaS and deploying HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT) to support Agile development and automated functional testing.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s SaaS ALM QC and UFT automation (with migration and support from partner Orasi) enabled automated functional testing, shortened testing phases, and reduced defects passed between test stages and into production. The move to HPE’s SaaS reduced hardware and maintenance overhead, improved responsiveness to market needs, and helped Horace Mann accelerate time‑to‑market while maintaining higher product quality.
