Hangzhou North Software Park Launches Competitive Cloud Platform

Hangzhou North Software Park faced intense competition among China’s industrial parks and needed to shift from property management to a next‑generation service provider by deploying a public IT cloud platform. To achieve this transformation the park engaged Hewlett Packard Enterprise — principally HPE Technology Services — using HPE servers and storage, the HPE Matrix operating system, VMware virtualization and HPE Cloud Consulting Services to design a scalable, tenant‑focused smart park solution.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise planned, designed and deployed an integrated cloud datacenter, smart park management platform and SaaS offerings (cloud hosting, cloud desktop, unified communications, portals and more), plus cloud broadband and green data‑center infrastructure. The HPE solution cut park energy consumption and costs by more than 20% and reduced tenant IT system building costs by over 30%, increased service speed and flexibility, and positioned Hangzhou North Software Park as a model smart park attractive to investors.
