Ecad, a Rio de Janeiro–based nonprofit that centralizes collection and distribution of music performance copyrights for thousands of rights-holders and more than 1,200 clients, faced rapidly increasing data volumes and service demands but could not grow infrastructure or staff. To accelerate delivery and improve quality of service, Ecad partnered with Hewlett Packard Enterprise and adopted HPE Helion CloudSystem Enterprise.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented HPE Helion CloudSystem Enterprise alongside HPE BladeSystem, ProLiant BL460 server blades and HPE 3PAR/EVA/StoreOnce storage to build a hybrid cloud that streamlined provisioning and management. The solution reduced time to deliver server, storage and OS services by about 60%, increased deployment and recovery capacity by 74%, eliminated team overhead, and delivered faster, more reliable IT services to Ecad’s clients.
