DS Virgin Racing On Track to Win With HPE

DS Virgin Racing, a contender in the FIA Formula E Championship, needed to capture and analyze real‑time IoT telemetry from its electric race cars both trackside at global events and at its UK headquarters to optimize car performance and enable continuous analysis. To build and maintain this advanced analytics infrastructure, DS Virgin Racing partnered with Hewlett Packard Enterprise, using HPE Pointnext services and hardware including HPE Moonshot, HPE 3PAR StoreServ and HPE Aruba networking.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise delivered a complete solution—hardware, bespoke analytics software, and HPE Foundation Care and HPE Proactive Care support—with 24x7 monitoring, pre‑failure alerts and global parts/service to support race‑day operations. The HPE implementation enabled real‑time feedback to drivers and rapid analysis at scale, improving race‑day reliability and performance optimization and allowing the team to manage petabytes of data and turn insights around “in seconds, not weeks.”
