A Hewlett Packard Enterprise Case Study
Diversified Agency Services (DAS), a global network of nearly 200 marketing and communications agencies serving clients from more than 700 offices in 71 countries, needed to consolidate more than 100 independent IT networks so agencies could securely and quickly share large volumes of data (about 2 petabytes daily) and support a BYOD, always-on work model. To meet this challenge DAS engaged Hewlett Packard Enterprise, using HPE servers and 3PAR storage plus HPE SDN cloud‑enabled networking and HPE Technology Services to redesign and centralize its infrastructure.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise designed and implemented new data centers, HPE SDN and management tools (including FlexFabric switches and IMC), and worked with DAS to merge disparate networks and vendors. The HPE solution consolidated 100+ networks into a single global topology, reduced six U.S. data centers to two (Phoenix and Atlanta) while adding London, onboarded agencies in 18 months, and cut application delivery from weeks/days to hours/minutes—delivering centralized, secure access with zero downtime and improved speed-to-market.
