Costa Navarino - Customer Case Study

Costa Navarino (developed by TEMES SA) needed a reliable, high‑availability wired and wireless networking infrastructure across two new luxury resorts to support guest services, IP‑TV, IP telephony, unified communications and centralised management. After an RFP process the customer selected Hewlett Packard Enterprise to deliver an integrated networking and server/storage solution that would meet hospitality performance, scalability and operational requirements.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise deployed a converged HP Networking solution — modular core and distribution switches, 300+ PoE edge switches, 750 MSM422 access points with MSM765zl controllers, 11 ProLiant servers, 2 P2000 G3 arrays and HP PCM Plus/Mobility Manager — plus services and Care Packs. The result was one of Greece’s largest wireless deployments with over 10,000 LAN ports, faster issue resolution (network reviews in seconds, analysis in minutes), lower total cost of ownership, higher guest satisfaction and continuous IT operations that helped reposition Messinia as a high‑end tourism destination and drive local economic benefits.
