A Hewlett Packard Enterprise Case Study
Conrad Electronic, one of Europe’s largest technology retailers with over 750,000 items and a new high‑tech logistics centre (capable of handling tens of thousands of packages daily), needed a highly available, scalable IT infrastructure to run SAP EWM and guarantee a 24‑hour turnaround for customer orders. After evaluating providers, Conrad Electronic selected Hewlett Packard Enterprise to deliver a Linux cluster environment using HPE 3PAR StoreServ storage, HPE Serviceguard Extension for SAP and an HPE Mission Critical Services contract.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented the integrated hardware, software and services stack, completed the migration on time and on budget, and provided a 99.91% uptime commitment during migration and ongoing mission‑critical support. The result was improved SAP EWM response times, reduced IT team workload, maintenance without extra downtime, and the business capability to guarantee next‑working‑day delivery for orders placed by 3pm—ensuring faster shipments and protecting Conrad Electronic’s operations as it grows.
