CIBIL boosts customer experience by doubling IT performance

CIBIL (Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited) needed a faster, more flexible IT platform to support growing database volumes and higher report demand. The organization selected Hewlett Packard Enterprise, deploying HPE Integrity blade servers in an HPE ProLiant BladeSystem c7000 enclosure together with HPE 3PAR StoreServ storage, HPE Systems Insight Manager and HPE Datacenter Care to replace aging hardware and meet future growth.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented a redundant, high‑availability solution and managed the migration of more than 50 TB of data. The HPE system cut report response times from 3–5 seconds to 1–1.5 seconds, increased processing capacity (reported as a 386% gain) and enabled daily report volumes to grow from about 10 million to 15 million (50% more). The deployment also reduced rack space by 80%, lowered power use by 55%, improved manageability and uptime (reported 99.99%), and reduced total cost of ownership, driving higher revenue and lower operating costs.
