Capgemini Cost Effectively Scales with HPE Flexible Capacity

Capgemini Infrastructure Services (Finland) needed faster, more flexible capacity to support demand for usage‑based cloud services while controlling CAPEX and avoiding long procurement cycles. To address this, Capgemini turned to Hewlett Packard Enterprise, adopting HPE Flexible Capacity and HPE Datacenter Care along with HPE ProLiant servers, HPE Virtual Connect switches and HPE OneView for centralized management.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented a pay‑as‑you‑grow HPE Flexible Capacity model and Datacenter Care services, installing hardware and configuring HPE OneView to automate provisioning. The result: datacenter expansion times fell from four–six weeks to a couple of hours, CAPEX and maintenance effort were reduced, IT staff were reallocated to strategic work, and Capgemini gained on‑demand scalability and improved operational efficiency.
