BSN iNET realigns its IT Storage Infrastructure to Drive Cloud Growth

BSN iNET, an IT solution and cloud services provider in Niigata, Japan, faced growing performance bottlenecks in its iNET IMAGE BANK IaaS platform as customer demand and IOPS-intensive workloads increased. To meet requirements for high throughput, per-VM QoS and multi-tenant support across VMware and OpenStack environments, BSN iNET turned to Hewlett Packard Enterprise and deployed HPE 3PAR StoreServ All-Flash Storage.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s HPE 3PAR StoreServ All-Flash eliminated the storage I/O bottleneck, delivering visibly faster response times and reliable QoS for parallel cloud applications; batch processing times were cut by up to one-third and daily backup windows shortened by about 87% (to roughly one-eighth). The solution also reduced data center space and power needs, integrated with VMware VVol/SRM and OpenStack, and provided operational assurances such as a five-year SSD warranty.
