A Hewlett Packard Enterprise Case Study
blueAPACHE, a Melbourne-based Infrastructure-as-a-Service provider, needed to evolve its ITaaS model to remain relevant and be fully accountable for customer solutions rather than acting as a broker. To achieve that, the company partnered with Hewlett Packard Enterprise and chose HPE Helion Cloud technology to build a private cloud that would let it control delivery, scale incrementally, and offer new services like DRaaS.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented a private cloud based on HPE Helion CloudSystem (with HPE BladeSystem and HPE 3PAR StoreServ storage) and supported deployment with HPE Installation and Deployment Services and HPE Support Plus 24. The solution grew blueAPACHE from one to three data centers, shifted annuity services from about 40% to over 50% of revenue, enabled packaged ITaaS and DRaaS offerings, and helped the company win repeated CRN Fast 50 recognition.
