BCDVideo - Customer Case Study

BCDVideo, a global leader in IP video surveillance storage, faced the challenge of differentiating its solutions from low-cost “white box” platforms while scaling worldwide and keeping total cost of ownership low. To meet this, BCDVideo partnered with Hewlett Packard Enterprise through the HP OEM Program, building on HP ProLiant servers and D3600/D6000 disk enclosures and leveraging services such as HP Factory Express and HP Foundation Care for customized, video-optimized platforms.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise provided a stable, supported hardware and services foundation that let BCDVideo deliver higher-reliability, scalable products (up to 1.7PB in 22U and 90TB in a 2U recorder), streamline configuration and global delivery, and reduce development and support costs. The result: wider market acceptance (deployments in 36 countries and relationships with 37 of the top 40 integrators), faster time-to-market, and a lower five-year TCO backed by HP’s five-year worldwide on-site warranty.
