Bally Technologies Discovers Next Gen Gaming Platform with HPE ProLiant Gen9

Bally Technologies, a global gaming and entertainment provider, needed a high-performance, highly reliable backend to deliver the “wow” in 24/7 gaming environments while speeding deployments and reducing footprint and operational costs. To meet these goals Bally evaluated and adopted Hewlett Packard Enterprise hardware and management software, notably HPE ProLiant BL460c and DL360 Gen9 servers, HPE BladeSystem enclosures, HPE 3PAR storage, HPE networking, and HPE management tools.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented a converged infrastructure using ProLiant Gen9 servers, HPE BladeSystem, HPE 3PAR, HPE Virtual Connect, HPE iLO and Intelligent Provisioning (with HPE services), giving Bally denser, faster, and more manageable compute. The deployment cut server provisioning time by 30%, increased computational density by about 20% (supporting 100+ VMs without stressing CPUs), and shrank the technology footprint by 50–70%, while improving systems visibility and integrated management.
