America First Credit Union, Utah’s premier credit union with 685,012 members, 110 branches and $6.5 billion in assets, needed to reduce IT spend while maintaining or improving service to staff and members. To gain trusted discovery and monitoring and to proactively detect issues in online banking, mobile and teller applications, America First partnered with Hewlett Packard Enterprise and adopted a suite of HPE/HP Software tools including Service Anywhere, uCMDB, Business Service Management, Operations Manager i, SiteScope, NNMi and BPM.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented an integrated monitoring, discovery, operations and ITSM solution—migrating to Service Anywhere, modeling applications in uCMDB, deploying BSM/OMi/SiteScope/NNMi and expanding BPM with BPM Anywhere—so a single systems monitoring engineer can oversee the estate. The deployment monitors close to 800 servers, reduced AFCU’s on‑premise footprint from six dedicated servers to one, expanded BPM coverage to better mimic member mobile sessions, enabled alerts before members call, improved visibility into infrastructure and business services, and broadened ITSM use across the organization.
