Air Handling Manufacturer Drives Greater Efficiency and Productivity with Superdome X

TROX GmbH, a global leader in air handling systems, needed to improve performance, availability and scalability for its mission‑critical ERP supporting manufacturing and distribution across 28 countries. To consolidate legacy UNIX environments and harness data more effectively for a global ERP rollout, TROX worked with Hewlett Packard Enterprise using HPE Integrity Superdome X servers, HPE 3PAR StoreServ 7200 storage and HPE Technology Services.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise consolidated TROX’s Oracle databases and Infor LN ERP onto Superdome X (running SUSE Linux) with HPE 3PAR storage, Serviceguard clustering and ongoing HPE services. The solution delivered a 200% increase in application performance, doubled scalability to enable the global rollout, eliminated unplanned downtime since deployment and cut licensing/support costs by about 50%, boosting workforce productivity and supporting international expansion.
