AC3 Invests In Powerful Storage Infrastructure to Meet New Vision

AC3, formed by the merger of two Australian IT businesses, needed to replace older, disparate vendor platforms with a modern, resilient infrastructure to deliver Infrastructure-as-a-Service while shrinking rack footprint, cutting power/heating costs and guaranteeing high uptime SLAs. To meet these goals AC3 selected Hewlett Packard Enterprise, deploying HPE storage and server technologies including HPE 3PAR StoreServ, StoreOnce, StoreEver, StoreVirtual, MPE MSA2000 and HPE ProLiant Gen8 servers.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise implemented a consolidated HPE 3PAR-based storage and replication solution with HPE 3PAR Central support and financing from HPE Financial Services, enabling remote monitoring, fast failover and non-disruptive upgrades. The result for AC3 was eliminated disaster-recovery risk, smaller rack real estate with lower power and heating costs, consistent SLA delivery, freed IT resources for revenue work, predictive capacity alerts and new business wins including a major financial services contract.
