Playtomic Adopts Data-Driven Culture, Improves Data Availability

Playtomic, the largest sports-reservation network in Europe, faced rapidly growing data needs as the business expanded: there was no BI, data access was limited to executives, and requests for data were slow and manual. To solve this, Playtomic selected Hevo Data to provide a no-code, unified data pipeline solution.

Hevo Data implemented pipelines (using Data Models, Workflows and the Visual Transformation Builder) to move data from multiple sources into Google Cloud Storage and BigQuery and into Metabase for dashboards. The Hevo Data solution enabled lossless ingestion of over 50M events/month, saved about €120K per year by cutting 6+ months of development time and reducing maintenance by ~10 hours/month, and created self-service analytics and broader data availability across the organization.
