Gainseeker® Suite Tune-up Simplifies System Maintenance

Major Consumer Products Packaging Company needed a fast, low-risk upgrade of its SPC system but lacked internal resources. With 20 years of data to protect, a corporate mandate to standardize on Microsoft SQL Server, and the move to GainSeeker Version 8 on the .Net platform, the team asked Hertzler Systems Inc to perform a GainSeeker Suite Tune Up and help expand real-time data collection.

Hertzler Systems Inc set up a Microsoft SQL database, migrated all historical data, installed the latest GainSeeker Suite (removing prior versions), and developed a new data-collection procedure for an additional area of the plant—completing the work during a two-day Tune Up. The upgrade delivered a faster, more reliable database, new GainSeeker features (including Dynamic Reports), minimal organizational disruption, and broader SPC coverage—what the manager called “a real time saver.”
