Forever Living is a global health and wellness company best known for its aloe vera products, with operations spanning millions of customers and more than 14 million distributors worldwide. As the business outgrew its mainframe systems, it needed real-time channel, sales and operations data—across more than 100 million rows—to give executives and home-based distributors timely, easy-to-use insights on desktop, web and mobile.
Forever Living implemented Heroku with Salesforce, using Heroku Connect to pre-aggregate channel numbers and keep Heroku Postgres and Salesforce synchronized. In the first six months they launched a community site, an agent portal, a customer mobile app and an internal employee view, enabling instant dashboards and mobile access. The platform now handles about 86 million rows on Heroku, processes roughly 5 million rows daily, supports real-time reporting in 150+ countries and was rolled out to over 150 countries in under 90 days.
