A Heroku Case Study
ConvertFlow is a no‑code platform that helps marketing teams create and personalize landing pages, popups, surveys, and calls to action to convert website visitors. Born as a side project, the lean team faced a major operational challenge: spiky, high‑volume traffic and massive analytical data flows that required tight response times and scalable infrastructure without a large DevOps organization.
Running on Heroku, ConvertFlow uses autoscaling (HireFire), a Rails app with Sidekiq backed by Heroku Redis for background processing, Heroku Postgres for operational data and Citus for multi‑terabyte analytics, plus monitoring add‑ons like New Relic. The result: seamless scaling to serve millions of daily visitors, efficient handling of hundreds of terabytes of data, fewer DevOps burdens for the team, and faster delivery of new features to customers.
