Preview of the Alta Loma High School Case Study

Alta Loma High School reduces student tardiness by 85% all thanks to PlascoTrac

Alta Loma High School, a 2,800‑student campus in Alta Loma, CA, faced inconsistent discipline and difficulty automating tracking of infractions like tardiness, dress code and electronic‑device violations. To address this, the school adopted Hero K12’s PlascoTrac system to standardize consequence enforcement and capture behavior data across campus.

Hero K12 implemented PlascoTrac school‑wide, enabling consistent logging of offenses and positive behaviors, event monitoring, and merit‑point rewards; the system cut average first‑period tardies from 161 to 25 students (about an 85% reduction). PlascoTrac also improved event oversight with a three‑strike policy, supported positive behavior programs, and is being expanded with plans for mobile handhelds to extend tracking off campus.
