Viber, the secure calling and messaging app serving over a billion users, needed to strengthen its security and compliance posture to meet demanding global expectations and regulatory requirements, including GDPR. To address this, Viber worked with HeleCloud to review and optimize its AWS-based environment against security and compliance best practices.

HeleCloud helped Viber assess and improve its AWS security posture using the AWS Security Best Practices, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and AWS Cloud Adoption Framework, while also evaluating GDPR controls and their effectiveness. As a result, Viber gained a clear, structured methodology for assessing security and compliance, along with greater confidence in the AWS platform and a trusted partner to help raise its cloud security bar.
