Kungälv Energi, a Swedish energy and utility company, needed to replace an end-of-life antivirus and EDR solution while improving protection for field staff working outside the office network. The company also faced manual patch management, the need to remove local admin rights without losing flexibility, and the burden of managing multiple security tools across separate portals. Heimdal Security was selected to help address these challenges with its unified cybersecurity platform.

Heimdal Security implemented a suite including MXDR, DNS Security - Endpoint, Patch and Asset Management, Privilege Elevation and Delegation Management, Next-Gen Antivirus & Firewall, and Remote Desktop. The result was a consolidated security environment with better visibility into patching, more effective privilege control, and faster threat response from the MXDR team.
