Secret Sauce launches in Bangkok with HeavyTask and reaches 15 restaurant testers

The customer, Secret Sauce, needed a full-stack marketplace platform to connect hospitality venues with local content creators through a barter system, bypassing the high costs of traditional influencer marketing. To build this technically complex, mobile-first product for launch across Southeast Asia, they partnered with the vendor, HeavyTask, which provided development services to create the platform.

HeavyTask implemented a solution using a FastAPI backend, a Flutter mobile app, and a Next.js web dashboard, all deployed on a scalable and secure AWS infrastructure with ECS Fargate. The result was a production-ready platform that launched successfully in Bangkok with 15 active restaurant partners, achieving break-even projections by month seven and validating the architecture for rapid multi-country expansion.
