The customer, SWAY, is a nonpartisan voting platform and Public Benefit Corporation based in the Bay Area that needed to extend its existing visual identity into a scalable design system for its web application. They partnered with the vendor Heartbeat to create a complete product experience that would support their platform's growth and evolution.

Heartbeat implemented a full design system for the SWAY web application, which included a UI kit, component library, icon set, and motion guidelines. This comprehensive system, built in Figma over six weeks, comprised over 200 components and 80 icons. The solution was structured to be easily extended by the SWAY team as new features are launched, enabling them to relaunch quickly and continue evolving their product. The system is now live and in use.
