American National, a nationwide insurance company with a network of local agents, needed a more efficient way to boost visibility for its multiple-line agents. Early Facebook campaigns underperformed because ads weren’t localized or customizable, agents were intimidated by the tech, and clicks routed back to the corporate site instead of to individual advisors.
Using Hearsay Social’s Facebook Corporate-to-Local ads, corporate created localized campaigns that automatically linked to agents’ own websites—no agent action required. A pilot (recruiting and agribusiness awareness campaigns with multiple ad variants) drove up to 2,232% more visits to agents’ local sites across desktops, laptops and mobile, and the program is being expanded to include more agents.
