Open Hands Atlanta uses Healthie to Expand their organization

Open Hand Atlanta, a non-profit nutrition organization in Atlanta, had outgrown its patchwork systems and needed a better way to expand services, improve client access, track invoicing, and measure outcomes. In 2018, it began looking for a telehealth platform, and turned to Healthie to support its growing virtual and in-person nutrition programs.

With Healthie’s HIPAA-compliant platform, Open Hand Atlanta was able to run recordings, live sessions, and class series, automate invoicing and electronic payments, improve financial oversight, and give clients easier access through a secure portal. Healthie also helped the organization pivot quickly to virtual programming during COVID-19, launch new programs like Good Measure Meals and Cooking Matters, and continue serving its community despite physical limitations.
