Montefiore Health System, one of New York’s premier academic health systems, was managing more than 45 vendors across its revenue cycle operations and needed to review those relationships to uncover savings and operational improvements. Montefiore partnered with Healthfuse to evaluate its outsourcing investments and build a more self-reliant vendor performance program, using Healthfuse’s rules-based auditing tool, AutoAudit.
Healthfuse identified a recurring P&L opportunity of $6.3 million, with a total three-year impact of $15.1 million. The results also included $500K in new initiative value, $170K in invoice recoveries, and $4.4M in contract savings, helping Montefiore improve collections and strengthen vendor performance.
