8x8, Inc. is a cloud communications and customer engagement provider whose Virtual Office application (desktop and mobile) required a scalable, CI-ready automation infrastructure to run functional and audio/video quality tests across 15+ countries. To validate real-world audio and video experience the customer needed automated POLQA/PEVQ analysis and a global device footprint—capabilities delivered through HeadSpin’s device cloud and Audio & Video validation features.

A Wipro–HeadSpin integrated solution using Wipro’s AssureNxt framework plus the HeadSpin device cloud, API layer and POLQA/PEVQ services automated end-to-end testing (Appium/Selenium, CI/Jenkins) across cloud and local devices. HeadSpin enabled global device access (2000 real cell networks in 100 countries), unattended runs and objective A/V scoring; as a result 8x8 achieved sanity runs in ~4 hours and full regression in ~8 hours, earlier defect detection, fewer customer-found defects and repeatable CI-ready releases.
