A HCSS Case Study
RAWSO Constructors, founded by Dylan Stephens, grew from a one-truck operation into a nearly 50-person contractor aiming to win DOT and municipal work. Their challenge was to scale quickly and bid larger projects without a proportional increase in administrative overhead, while improving estimating accuracy, field production tracking, safety, and equipment utilization.
RAWSO deployed GPS hardware, drones and a full HCSS stack (HeavyBid, HeavyJob, Telematics, Safety, Trucking, Plans and Cloud) with field iPads to automate estimating, real-time job costing, equipment runtime reporting and safety processes. The result: revenue tripled in one year, staff and equipment expanded (about 20 to 50 employees and ~25 machines), they began competing effectively with much larger firms, and they scaled faster with minimal added overhead and improved margins.
