UMass School Of Nursing Redesigns Their Conference Room To Meet Needs Of Students And Faculty

UMass Amherst School of Nursing wanted to redesign its conference room so it could better support students and faculty in an increasingly online educational environment. The existing AV setup was unreliable, difficult to use, and did not work well across different components. HB Communications was brought in to upgrade the room with a simpler, more dependable solution, including LifeSize video conferencing technology, Samsung displays, Chief mounts, and Extron components.

HB Communications completed the installation during winter recess in just three days, with no interruption of access to the space. The new conference room delivered noticeably improved sound and video quality, was described as simple and clean, and created a better learning experience for students and faculty. Since the upgrade, the room has been almost fully booked each day, showing strong adoption and demand.
